Shadows of the Empire.

Took me a while to post about this. I was gonna say i've been busy, which i have, but i've totally had plenty of time to do this. Anyways, my LP is still in the works, but I decided to put out an EP in the meantime. It's called Shadows of the Empire and its a free download on bandcamp. Also, I did a remix of Ryan Hemsworth's new single that you can download here. Got some gigs coming up in Montreal and Toronto that you can peep on the left column.... scroll down a bit. That sums it up. The next post will probably be about the LP. Maybe a DJ mix.

Over the last few years, I've been recording a romantic dj mix series entitled 'Loved and Lost'. After 5 installments, I've taken a break and decided to start 'Loved and Lust', it's sensual late night counterpart. Happy Valentine's day! (Download the mix here!!)

Pop Montreal and design things.

The Pop Montreal Galactique showcase was really fun and I've never been more proud of our team. Taperecorder (Brooklyn), Toof (Austin), Motrecraft (Seattle), Ryan Hemsworth (Halifax) and Mike Din (Toronto) all came a long way to join locals Beeker and I on stage at Pop. This year's festival was no doubt one of its best yet. Already looking forward to next year!

Never Heard of Em.

I've just released a collaboration with some of my favourite local MCs called "Never Heard of Em". Vocals are provided by Shogun, Lotus and CeasRock and the single comes with 4 remixes by Taperecorder, Beeker, Mike Din & Birds. You can download it here. The song will also be on Shogun's upcoming release "The Taste Test".

Working on lots of new songs for my LP, maybe another EP to precede it, we'll see... Until next time!

Ok, so I have a couple shows and things coming up in the northeast... djing on May 22nd at the Beans/Death Comet Crew show in Brooklyn, pretty excited about that. I'll also be opening at a taperecorder release party in both Brooklyn and Montreal, in June and July respectively.

Also, finishing up a new single with some really good local MCs I've been wanting to work with for a while here in Montreal and will be gathering a few remixes from friends for a single release on July 1st.
